Gibberellic acid is an organic compound with a molecular formula of C19H22O6. It was discovered during the study of rice bakanae disease. It refers to a class of compounds with a gibberellane skeleton that can stimulate cell division and elongation. [1] It is a broad-spectrum plant growth regulator, which can promote the growth and development of crops, make them mature earlier, increase yield, and improve quality; it can quickly break the dormancy of seeds, tubers and bulbs and other organs to promote germination; reduce buds and flowers The shedding of, bell and fruit can increase fruit yield or form seedless fruit. It can also make some 2-year-old plants bloom in the same year.

Description:

Compound preparation: gibberellic acid + thidiazuron solution, gibberellic acid + forchlorfenuron solution,

Features:

1. No teratogenic or mutagenic effects.

2. The aqueous solution is acidic, relatively stable in acidic and weakly acidic solutions, and easily decomposes in alkali. It has an aromatic smell after dissolving. Gibberellic acid can be stored for a long time under dry conditions.

 

Application crops: rice, wheat, cotton, fruit trees, vegetables, etc.

Function: Promote its growth, germination, flowering and fruiting. Regardless of whether it is sprayed, smeared, or rooted, gibberellin can increase the yield of different crops. However, if too much gibberellin is applied, the plant will have yellow and slender branches, that is, chlorosis and overgrowth, which will affect the yield.

 

Description: 1. Promote the elongation of stems 2. Induce flowering 3. Break dormancy 4. Promote male flower differentiation 5. Other physiological effects, promote fruit setting and parthenocarpy in some plants, delay leaf senescence, etc.

Use:

1. Promote the formation of fruit-setting or seedless fruit. Spray 50-100mg/kg liquid medicine once during the flowering period of cucumber to promote fruit-setting and increase yield. 7-10 days after the grapes bloom, spray the ears of muscat grape with 200-500mg/kg liquid medicine once to promote the formation of seedless fruits.

2. Promote vegetative growth: Spray 50-100mg/kg of celery leaves once 2 weeks before harvest; spray 1-2 times 3 weeks before harvest of spinach to increase the stems and leaves.

3. Break dormancy and promote germination. Soak the tuber with 0.5-1mg/kg liquid for 30min before sowing potatoes; soak the seeds with 1mg/kg liquid before sowing, both can promote germination.

4. Anti-aging and fresh-keeping effect: Soak the base of garlic moss with 50mg/kg liquid for 10-30min, spray 5-15mg/kg liquid once for citrus green fruit, and soak the fruit with 10mg/kg liquid after banana harvest. , Cucumbers and watermelons are sprayed with 10-50mg/kg medicinal solution before harvest, which can play a role in keeping fresh.

5. Adjusting the flowering: Spraying the leaves of chrysanthemum with 1000mg/kg liquid at the vernalization stage, and spraying the buds with 1-5mg/kg liquid at the bud stage of cyclamen can promote flowering.

6. Improve the seed setting rate of hybrid rice seed production. Generally, it starts when the female parent is 15% heading, and when the head is 25%, spray with 25-55mg/kg liquid medicine for 1-3 times. Use low concentration first, then high concentration.

Precautions:

1. Gibberellic acid has low water solubility, so it should be dissolved with a small amount of alcohol or white wine before use, and then diluted with water to the required concentration.

2. The infertile seeds of crops treatd with gibberellic acid increase, so it is not suitable to leave the field for pesticide application.e
