Dinotefuran is an organic compound with molecular formula of C7H14N4O3, molecular weight of 202.2111 and melting point of 107.5 ℃. It is mainly used as insecticide. Due to the difference in structure with other nicotinic insecticides, furabendam is also different from nicotinic insecticides in performance, which is called "Nitrofuran nicotine". It has no cross resistance with other nicotinic insecticides, and has the effect of contacting and killing stomach toxicity, at the same time, it also has good imbibition. It has the characteristics of high quick acting, high activity, long duration and wide insecticidal spectrum, and has excellent control effect on piercing sucking apparatus pests, especially on rice planthopper, Bemisia tabaci, whitefly and other pests that have developed resistance to imidacloprid. The insecticidal activity was 8 times of that of the second generation and 80 times of that of the first generation.

Mechanism of action:

Dinotefuran reaches the action point in the form of free base, and it can disturb the neurotransmitter system of insects by binding with nicotinic acetylcholine receptor and paralyze insects. The results showed that the binding activity of furabendam to acetylcholine receptor was lower than that of other nicotinic insecticides, but its efficacy was higher than that of other nicotinic insecticides. It was suggested that there were different binding sites of furabendam, which might be caused by the special furan structure in furabendam, resulting in the different action mechanism between furabendam and other nicotinic insecticides There was no cross resistance to insecticides.
